How to Use This BPM Calculator

Tap Tempo

Tap the button or press spacebar in time with the music to calculate the BPM. The more taps you make, the more accurate the result. If you stop tapping for 2 seconds, it will reset.

Visual Metronome

Use the play button to start a visual and audio metronome at your selected BPM. The first beat of each bar is accented with a higher pitch. You can adjust the volume or mute the audio while keeping the visual indicator.

Delay Times

The delay times table shows you the exact millisecond, second, and frequency values for various note subdivisions. This is essential for setting up delay, reverb, and other time-based effects in your DAW. Click any value to copy it to your clipboard.

Dotted & Triplet Notes

Dotted notes are 1.5x the length of the regular note (adds 50%). Triplet notes are 2/3 the length of the regular note (fits 3 notes in the space of 2).
